These are adjustable cam gears for the RVF 400 Honda motor. We did quite a bit of development work a few years ago on these and with the help of Ricky from RLR in England, we came up with the adjustable cam gear kit based on how RLR does theirs. We also lighten the hubs the cam gears are mounted on, other than that the principles are all the same.

We found a lot of goodness in the cam timing and having adjustable cam gears to get all the power out of the motor. They're not cheap. It takes quite a bit time to modify the stock gears to mount to the hubs that we make. Then once that's done the cam gears need to be mounted to the cams, squared up and welded. The cam gear kit costs  $650, and then there's an additional $200 charge to mount and true the gears.

Below are some Dyno graphs of before-and-after. The red as a baseline with no mods motor is primarily stock with stock exhaust. The Green line is with an aftermarket exhaust system, and then the yellow line is with exhaust and cam timing. As you can see, there is a significant difference in how the engine performs with proper cam timing and valve adjustment.
